We live in a fast-paced quick fix world, and the same runs true when we plan our workout routines. If you find you are limited in time, the best choice for your workout would be doing exercises that work more than one body part at the same time, or even better, exercises that work the entire body in one movement. One of the best compound exercises is the deadlift. The deadlift recruits muscles in your upper and lower body while reving up your heart rate for maximum calorie burn. Although the deadlift is a very effective exercise, it is very important that you use correct form when executing. Check out the quick read and video at www.wikihow.com for an illustration of the deadlift and how to make sure you are getting the full benefit of the exercise. KEEP MOVING!-Elizabeth, CPT
