It’s a known fact that our youngsters need fruits, vegetables, and healthy food choices each day.  However, do you know how many servings of veggies your 5-year-old needs?  GoTrybe Fitness Coordinator Elizabeth Cross, along with model kids Stephen and Frankie Cradic, informed viewers on the recommended serving sizes in each of the 6 food groups represented on MyPyramid.gov’s food pyramid.  Click here to watch the segment. The MyPyramid site is an excellent resource for information concerning daily calorie recommendations, as well as serving sizes.  You can plug in your gender, age, weight, and height to get the most accurate feedback.  KEEP MOVING!-Elizabeth, CPT.
